To convert an hourly wage to an annual salary, multiply your hourly rate by the number of hours you work per week, then multiply by 52 (the number of weeks in a year):

Example: $25/hour × 40 hours × 52 weeks = $52,000/year
Full-Time vs. Part-Time Conversion
The standard full-time schedule is 40 hours per week, which equals 2,080 hours per year (40 × 52). If you work part-time — say, 25 hours per week — your annual equivalent would be lower: $25/hour × 25 hours × 52 = $32,500/year.
Monthly and Biweekly Salaries
- Monthly: Divide your annual salary by 12
- Biweekly: Divide your annual salary by 26 (52 weeks ÷ 2)
- Weekly: Divide your annual salary by 52
Important Considerations
